Refund Policy

VISALABS provides legal advisory and representation services in German residence and citizenship law. As we do not sell physical goods, there are no returns. This policy explains when and how fees can be refunded.

1. No guarantee of a specific outcome

Decisions on residence permits, EU Blue Cards, settlement permits and naturalisation are made solely by the competent authorities. We prepare your case carefully and represent your interests, but we cannot guarantee a particular result or processing time. A negative decision, a delay or a request for additional documents by the authority is therefore not a reason for a refund.

2. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Details can be found in our Cancellation Policy.

If you expressly request that we begin our services before the withdrawal period has ended:

• you must pay a proportionate amount for the services already provided up to the time of withdrawal, and
• your right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed.

3. Cancellation after the withdrawal period

You can end our engagement at any time. In this case, we invoice the work carried out up to that point. Any amount paid for services not yet provided will be refunded.

4. Initial consultations

Paid consultations can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Appointments cancelled later or missed without notice cannot be refunded.

5. Official fees and third-party costs

Fees charged by authorities (e.g. the immigration office or the naturalisation authority), translation costs and other third-party expenses are passed on at cost and are non-refundable once paid.

6. Instalment payments

If you pay in instalments and the engagement ends early, we calculate the work performed up to that point. Any overpayment is refunded, and outstanding instalments for services already provided remain due.

7. How to request a refund
